Control them with ease using the Porsche Connect app, PCM or My Porsche. In addition to Navigation Plus or the new Porsche Connect app, there are more than 20 further services and apps available.
Ready to assist is the new Voice Pilot, your online voice control service, so that you can keep your eyes on the road and traffic at all times. Simply say where you want to go. A sightseeing attraction at your destination, for example. Voice Pilot understands without you having to enter address details.
Overall, the new Cayenne appears more broad-shouldered by comparison with the predecessor generation – making it more muscular, more athletic and more dynamic.
Even a touch edgier and more masculine: the new Cayenne Turbo. Its front apron has a particularly distinctive and imposing design with air intakes that are even larger than before. Numerous details painted in the exterior colour, e.g. the exterior mirrors or the wheel arch extensions, reinforce an even more prestigious appearance. Special highlight: the adaptive roof spoiler, which deploys to any of five positions, depending on the driving situation. At 21 inches, the wheels are larger – as exemplified by the new, optional 21-inch sCayenne Exclusive Design wheels.
The new Cayenne Turbo boasts features that emphasise the sporty side of its character: not least the exclusive steering wheel design. Or the adaptive Sports seats with memory package and – for the first time in the Cayenne – integrated headrests in the front and a deep embossed ‘turbo’ logo. The decorative strip design in cross-brushed aluminium is nothing less than exclusive.
New in all Cayenne models: the Porsche Advanced Cockpit control concept. The centre console with Direct Touch Control has a surface in glass look featuring touch-sensitive buttons for direct access to the most important functions. In between: the compact gear selector. Above the centre console is Porsche Communication Management (PCM), which features a full-HD 12-inch touchscreen display and includes an online navigation module for intuitive operation. Behind the multifunction Sports steering wheel is the new instrument cluster. To the right and left of the customary Porsche analogue rev counter – with classic needle design – are two high-resolution display screens that visualise virtual instruments, maps and other information as required.
Available as an option, the coloured ambient lighting – new in the Cayenne – enriches the interior with clever light accents. You can choose from a variety of colour schemes for any mood and even change the light intensity to suit your preference.
All models impress with strengths typical of every Cayenne: spaciousness, great versatility and an array of carefully selected materials. Exactly what you desire, as there is also a wide range of personalisation options.
Brakes: the new benchmark
The brake dust formation associated with conventional brakes is reduced. Thanks to its new kind of surface coating, the brake disc retains its silvery sheen even after a long time in use. In addition, the ceramic coating helps to maintain a permanently shiny friction surface in everyday operation. Brake calipers with a white painted finish lend this brake its distinctive look.
By comparison with an equivalent grey cast iron brake disc of conventional design, PSCB offers a 30 % longer service life for the brake pad and brake disc. It comes fitted as standard to the Cayenne Turbo and is available as an option for all other Cayenne models.
The 404 kW (550 hp) rated twin-turbo V8 engine of the Cayenne Turbo is equipped with twin-scroll turbines. The exhaust streams arrive at the turbine wheel through physically separate channels – for optimised gas cycles. The result: high torque even at low engine speeds.
For efficiency, all engines also come with electrical system recuperation, thermal management and the auto start/stop function with coasting function.
Another essential platform for enhanced efficiency and further improved performance: Porsche Active Aerodynamics (PAA). PAA actively manipulates the aerodynamic behaviour of the car, e.g. by controlling numerous flaps integrated into the air intakes. The new adaptive roof spoiler is exclusive to the Cayenne Turbo.

Sometimes there are several ways to get us to our destination. These could be in the form of newly incorporated features, such as adaptive air suspension with three-chamber technology or rear-axle steering.
Also new is integrated Porsche 4D Chassis Control. It centrally analyses the driving situation in all three spatial dimensions, e.g. pitch, roll and yaw. From this data, it computes the optimum driving states and synchronises all chassis systems in real time.
