Ukraine has criticized Germany. “What is Berlin afraid of and Kiev is not?”

oh Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba criticized Germany this Tuesday for not sending Panther tanks and mortar infantry fighting vehicles to the Russian-occupied country.

“Disappointing signs from Germany when Ukraine now needs Panthers and Marauders – to free people and save them from genocide”The Minister started by saying in a post on the social network Twitter.

“There is no rational argument as to why these weapons cannot be delivered, just abstract fears and excuses. What is Berlin afraid of and Kiev is not?he added.

Germany’s support for Ukraine has been criticized since the Russian invasion of Ukraine began on February 24. Although Berlin had already sent military logistics, ammunition and tanks to Kiev, the decision was made only after pressure from the international community.

The conflict between Ukraine and Russia, according to Vladimir Putin, began with the aim of “degrading” and militarizing Ukraine for Russia’s protection. The move was widely condemned by the international community.

The UN confirmed that 5,827 civilians had died and around 8,000 were wounded in the fighting, stressing that the true toll would be much higher and would only be known during access to fenced-off areas or intense fighting.
